Career Design Specialist -- College of Engineering, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources
Hello! I am looking forward to meeting with you.
Growing up in a family of five kids, I learned the importance of stories. I adored my father's infamous opening line: "Once upon a time, there was a beautiful, smart, crazy girl..." A healthy balance, if you ask me! Those words inspired me not only to tell my own story, but also to encourage others to share theirs. I have fostered this passion through both my personal interests and my professional roles in career advising.
My professional background includes working as a Career Success Mentor at my alma mater, Brigham Young University-Idaho, while earning a bachelor's degree in Communications with an emphasis in News and Journalism. While I love writing, I quickly discovered that my true passion was working with students. After serving as a Student Success Advisor for a nursing university in Salt Lake County, I felt drawn back to the world of career development. That path ultimately led me to Utah State University, where I now serve as a Career Design Specialist.
